Thinking of buying some SUDZ?
SUDZ crafting cotton comes in 39 Solid colours, 9 Multi-colours, 21 Spray colourways, and 19 Tonal colourways. They're all beautiful, start out softer than a certain other brand of crafter's cotton, and I want them all! But what to do with them once you have them?
One thing people like to make are dishcloths. Dishcloths are portable, useful, work up quickly, and make excellent gifts (those last two are especially important this time of year!). Just imagine the rainbow of dishcloths you could make! Or, would you prefer to make your dishcloths match your decor? You could make a matching set of dishcloths, tea/dish towels, pot holders, placemats... if you can think it, there's probably a pattern!
I recently discovered patterns from Garlene at The Kitchen Sink Shop. She has a presence on Ravelry, Etsy, and YouTube. (I counted 18 dishcloths on her Ravelry alone!) She also does "A Year of Dishcloths", and when you sign up for her newsletter they go right to your email every month! The pattern I chose to start with was The Shire Dishcloth. I think it looks super-pretty in this Red Wine SUDZ, and I really enjoyed working the pattern.
